Responsive and flexible image viewing interface

Pixel!VIEW enables you to view, format and display all types of image data.  With its extensive support of import and export file formats, Pixel!VIEW is the premier tool for converting images from one format to another, and for moving images among applications.  With Pixel!VIEW, you can launch third-party and homegrown applications while working in Pixel!FX.

Pixel!VIEW includes an Image Album that displays thumbnail icons of all images contained in a directory.  You can easily drag images from one Album and drop them into another.  To open any image, simply click on the thumbnail.  Additionally, you can drag an image thumbnail over a toolbar icon to instantly execute a command!

An automated directory monitor system with user-configurable image routing supports integration with third-party applications, fax products and network scanning capability.  The user is notified when a new image arrives in the Inbox.

Extensive image file format support is available in Pixel!VIEW.  The application allows you to import TIFF, XWD, Targa TGA, X Bitmap, Sun Rasterfile, JPEG, BMP, Interleaf, FrameMaker Inset, XPM, PNG, and WPG file formats.  Pixel!VIEW also exports a variety of image file formats, including TIFF, XWD, Targa TGA, X Bitmap, EPS, Postscript, Color Postscript, PCL, Color Separations, Sun Rasterfile, JPEG, BMP, Interleaf, FrameMaker Inset, XPM, PNG, and WPG.

Pixel!VIEW supports a full range of compression options, including CCITT group 3, CCITT group 4, run length encoding, and JPEG.  The user can view and manipulate images with depths of up to 16 bits per channel (48-bit RGB, 64-bit CMYK and 16-bit grayscale).  Additionally, Pixel!VIEW converts RGB to CMYK PostScript to support color separations.  To facilitate World Wide Web authoring, progressive JPEG support is also available.
